Journal - What makes a good introduction paragraph to an essay or paper? Hint - review the 6 Trait Writing rubric for help. I think that I good introduction paragraph has to get the readers attention. It also has to explain what they will be writing about in an effective way. So that the reader dose not become bored to quickly. Also an intro paragraph cant give away what you are suppose to write. It must be a good balance between the two.
